After watching Good Morning America this morning for a few minutes: Is this whole Donald Trump thing a joke? Like, is someone going to jump out at some point and say - gotcha?
After scheduling a couple of college visits in May: Will the anxiety ever go away about the whole college thing and my first-born? If I think going somewhere local and living at home would be best for a year or two, should I make him do it or not?
After realizing my cell phone contract is up this month: How is a simple person like me supposed to figure out which smartphone might be best to get?
After talking with friends yesterday about going to NYC: What are the must-sees in NYC when you only have a few days, and part of that time will be spent meeting people?
After a few e-mails yesterday:
What would I do without my wonderful, wise writing friends?
After my long walk with the dog yesterday:
Is there anything better than standing underneath a blossoming cherry tree and just breathing?
Looks like you have a lot on your mind!! :)
ReplyDeleteMy cellphone contract is almost up too and I will be upgrading to a smartphone. Debating on which is best for me. I hate touchscreen keyboards but I'm not sure I want a Blackberry.
I didn't really see the Donald Trump stuff...it was on the tv at the gym but I was siting still long enough to read the subtitles.
Personally, I LOVE my iphone. But I'm a bit Mac-centric.
ReplyDeleteAnd as someone who did the 'go to a small local college for the first 2 years and stay living at home' thing I can say that I'm very glad I went that route. I still went to and graduated from my dream school, but I didn't go there until I was really ready, knew what I wanted to major in, etc. Mind you, I started college at 16, so I had no choice but to stay at home (the parents were not going to let me move away that young). But even if I were older, I wouldn't have wanted to do it any other way.
Miss you and ((hugs)) :)
Amen on the Donald Trump thing! Ugh. As for the smartphone, I'm holding out for an iPhone. It'll be my prize when I sell my first book :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, we've been Trumped. Ick.
ReplyDeleteAs for NYC, I suggest tea or a drink at the Algonquin Hotel. I did it a few years ago and loved the notion of sitting where Dorothy Parker hung out. And I love Central Park.
